Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device; similar technologies include localStorage and session tokens. They let a site remember who you are between pages and visits. This policy covers quickmerce.in and the merchant dashboard. Stores built by merchants on Quickmerce set their own storefront cookies (cart and session), described in the cookie policy on each store.

2. What we use

  • Strictly necessary - signing you in and keeping your dashboard session alive, remembering security state, and protecting forms against abuse. The dashboard stores your session tokens in your browser's localStorage. These cannot be switched off while using the product.
  • Preferences - remembering choices like dismissed banners and UI state.
  • Performance - first-party measurement of which pages are visited and where errors occur, used only to improve the product.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on quickmerce.in, and we do not sell data derived from cookies.

3. Third parties

Our payment provider (Razorpay) sets cookies during checkout and billing flows for security and fraud prevention, governed by its own policy. If we add analytics or support tools that set cookies, we will list them here before they go live.

4. Controlling cookies

Your browser can block, restrict, or delete cookies (and localStorage) - see its privacy settings. Blocking strictly-necessary storage will sign you out and may prevent parts of the dashboard and checkout from working.
